Hey there,

here's a little scramble about myself!

With a background in Industrial Engineering ⚙️ and a passion for design ✏️ , I am pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech 🐝 with a motivation towards making user-centric solutions intuitive and easy to use to revolutionize the way we interact with innovative technology.

Creative Beginnings and the Art of Problem-Solving

For as long as I can remember, I was always drawing characters - something about their visual appeal captivated me - allowing me to imagine their stories. I think I’ve always been drawn to how visuals can convey emotions, tell stories, and engage people.

At the same time, I was fascinated by problem-solving—figuring out how things work and felt inspired by my dad's knack for problem-solving and the way he tackled challenges efficiently. This led me to pursue Industrial Engineering.

However, I had this unwavering love for art and found myself getting immersed in digital art and graphic design during the pursuit of my degree. This was a consequence of my involvement in the TEDx chapter at my undergrad college where I was the head of the digital design team and volunteer work at The Launch Pad.

In many ways, I believe creating art and solving problems are two sides of the same coin. They both involve seeing the world through different perspectives and looking for creative solutions to challenges. That’s why I find UX design so fulfilling - it’s where my love for visuals meets my passion for problem-solving! I get to design experiences that are not only visually engaging but also intuitive and user-friendly; creating interfaces that tell a story and solve a need at the same time.

Pugs, Art Museums, and everything from the 80s to the 2000s!

Pugs hold a special place in my heart, especially my best friend, Scooby, who was always there with me, whether it was while I was studying or just existing in my room. His consistent presence taught me the value of reliability and attentiveness, qualities I prioritize in my work.

I've also got a deep appreciation for different perspectives and that's why I love visiting art museums. It allows me to explore how various artists convey emotions and stories through their work and creative lens, which inspires me to approach challenges with both empathy and creativity.

There's something magical to me about the time from the 80s to the 2000s that bring about a feeling of nostalgia - giving me a sense of comfort, reminding me of simpler times. However, I'm eager to embrace new and upcoming experiences. This blend of cherishing the past while remaining open to the future shapes my work interests - trying to balance the known and the unknown.
